Nokatan was a custom build project assigned by a middle eastern personal to Jack Powels Shipyard (UK) who started to build the doubled thickness hull (as requested) in 1981.
For some reason the project was suspended and only in 1987 Valdettaro Shipyard shipped the hull to LaSpezia (Italy) for build completion, superstructure (in aluminum), interiors, engines and systems fitting (all designs, plans and engines certificates are available).
The aycht was finally launched on 1990.

NokataN was my second home to me and my family during our holidays and whenever I seek peaceful permanence away from work’s stress and life’s tension.

Nokatan è stata progettata su richiesta di un noto personaggio del Medio Oriente, ai cantieri Jack Powles (Regno Unito). Lo scafo con doppio spessore (su richiesta) venne costruito nel 1981.
I lavori, per motivi personali, vennero però sospesi per lungo tempo e solo nel 1987 il Cantiere Valdettaro, trasportò lo scafo nei cantieri di La Spezia (Italia) per l’allestimento completo di sistemi, interni, sovrastruttura (in alluminio) e motori (tutti i disegni del progetto e i certificati sono disponibili).
La barca venne poi varata nel 1990.
